The primary objective behind the creation of the Code V1 was to unlock maximum performance and versatility in a kiteboarding kite. Regardless of skill level, this kite delivers exceptional performance across all disciplines and in any conditions.

At Slingshot, they continually test and research new materials in order to stay at the forefront of innovation. By incorporating a new, lighter, and more rigid Dacron in the leading edge and struts, they have significantly enhanced the Code V1's performance.
Considerable efforts have been made to reduce canopy paneling in comparison to previous kite models. This reduction not only decreases the overall weight of the kite but also contributes to a more aerodynamic and efficient canopy profile.
Eliminating pulleys from the design allows riders to experience more immediate and direct input from the kite. In addition, the ultra-thin and static bridle lines minimize drag, resulting in improved aerodynamics.
An upgrade has been made to the patented Slingshot invention. By increasing the diameters of the One Pump tubes, they have optimized airflow and repositioned the tubes to enhance both durability and streamlining.
