The BANDIT kite delivers exceptional stability in the air, regardless of the wind conditions. Whether you're into freeriding, kite foiling, Big Air, or strapless riding, this versatile kite excels in all disciplines. Its outstanding control and support enable riders to perform at their peak, effortlessly harnessing gusts for forward propulsion.
For its 16th edition, the R&D team dedicated extensive efforts to refine the kite's profile, resulting in an incredibly sleek design. Ingenious staggered seams were introduced on both the leading and trailing edges, effectively breaking the tension line along the seams. This leveling of the entire canopy profile when fully powered enhances its performance. The fabric's orientation towards tension was also preserved.
By implementing staggered seams, they have successfully reduced overtensions at the back of the profile. The two vertical panels have been replaced with a single panel on sizes 9m² and below, while a new and stronger TECHNOFORCE 66 panel was developed to enhance control on smaller sizes in higher winds.
Sizes 10m² and above retain the lightweight TECHNOFORCE 52 for optimal performance, accompanied by two layers of TECHNOFORCE 52 canopy featuring staggered seams on the trailing edge. These improvements enhance overall efficiency and bring a heightened sense of stability, ensuring minimal disturbances and bar movements, particularly in high-end conditions.
The struts' reinforcements have also undergone enhancements, featuring a sleek Kevlar strip on top. This not only improves steering and maneuverability but also reduces aerodynamic disturbances and the kite's overall weight when wet.
The kite's stability is further maintained through their original 5-point connections bridle and two pulleys, even in overpowering conditions.
To increase reactivity, they have introduced new CNC-shaped, anodized aluminum low-friction "pulleys" that are remarkably lightweight. These pulleys not only enhance the kite's responsiveness but also enhance the bridle's resistance to abrasion and overall durability.
With its iconic Delta C-Shape, the only patented kite design still in existence, the BANDIT provides riders with unrivaled bar feeling, exceptional relaunching capability, and unparalleled stability.
